$16.45 Well, I did it! I finished my second CD. It didn't take as long as the first one (19 years)! We all go through things in our lifetime. Some are good and some are bad. Some just drive you crazy. Being a mom and divorced, I been through a lot and seen it all. Song #1, Don't Lie To Me: Being lied to in a relationship. All of us have dealt with this one at one time or another.Song #2, Something New: (This is about myself and maybe a lot of you out there as well) Putting your life on hold to raise your family, then starting something new that you always wanted to do, but never had the time to do. I'm very proud to say, that this year! (2006) Yes, I'm 50 years old. Now what do you do when you turn 50? Well, You start a band!!!! The name of the band is JUKEBOX 6 We've only been together for a short time, We just opened a Show for James Montgomery the Saturday after Thanksgiving, in Lynn Massachusetts. We made it on the front and second page of the news paper, The Lynn Journal. Not to bad for being a new band and 50! And yes I'm also a grandma. You're never to old to start something new. Don't ever let people tell you that your dreams are stupid, or that you're to old to do this or that. Always follow your heart, and your dreams may be closer than you think. Find yourself and Be yourself. Don't be what other people want you to be.Song #3, Nosey Neighbor: We've all had one. The nosey neighbor. The one that thinks they own your street and everything on it. If you play this one you'll have a good laugh and you'll think of someone you know on your street.Song #4 I've Had It!: Being a mom, The way kids, Teen's are today, they drive you a little bit crazy. The next time your teens want, want, want, and don't want to help out. Play the song, It speaks for itself. They'll get the hint. And you'll feel a lot better. Have your self a laugh! I Don't get mad. I just write a song about what pisses me off. And they have to listen to it forever. Song #5 Hanging Down To There (The Butt Crack Song) The pants hanging of the butt style. I just don't get it! Do you? This song is from a mom's point of view, It's to pick on the rapping and there pants hanging. "Grandma does rap." This one you should be laughing at. Plus the two songs before this one Too. I told my kids if they didn't pull there pants up, I was going to put their name in the song. It worked. Song # 6 Nature's Song: There was a very bad storm one night. My son was afraid of the thunder and lighting. I was listening to the rain hit the roof and the ground and watching the lighting light up the sky. I started to write down what I was hearing and what was going on. I wrote this song for my son, to help explain the thunder storm. So he would not be so afraid. I hope you and your children like it too. Then last but not least. Song #7: What Are We Gonna Do? This one is for the planet. We all need to take care of it. Because if we don't take care of Mother Nature, Mother Nature, will not take care of us. The rain forest is the center of our planet. It keeps everything balanced. If we keep messing with the balance of things. It will come back to bite us in the Butt. With weather changes and floods.Plus all the waste we make, and People who do not recycle because they don't have the time or they cannot be bothered. If we all pitch in just a little, it will help a lot in the bigger picture of life. This song is my public ...
