AC/DC reclaimed its status as gutbucket rock n' rollers to be reckoned with on this searing double-disc live set. The year was 1992, more than 15 years after the group's first recording. By this point, the band was approaching middle age, a time when most rockers settle into the lazy comfort of their genres. From the opening guitar shards of "Thunderstruck," it is clear no such concessions have been made. The bass drum falls in, not so much a timekeeper as an underground detonation device, and the repeated cries of "thunder!" gain volume like an approaching army. The difference being that this is an army with one mission and one mission only: to knock the lights out of anyone within earshot.

Albert Mathias (Composer and Performer) has been creating music for movement in San Francisco since 1991, he is a multi-disciplinary musician whose focus contains accompaniment, composition and sound design for dance/theater, CD and film , as well as solo works for the stage. Since 1998 Mathias has been Music Director of Motion-Lab, a perpetual experiment of dance training, choreography, improvisation and performance with dancer/choreographer Kathleen Hermesdorf. Motion-Lab has produced five evening length works for the stage and released five works for CD Audio since 1999. In 2000, Mathias was nominated for an Isadora Duncan Award for Original Sound Score for BLUE 2000 by Motion-Lab. In 2006 Mathias received a New York Bessie award for his work on Bebe Miller's "Landing/Place" an evening length multimedia performance which has toured the continental US extensively. Albert is also the primary percussionist for international touring/recording artists LiveHuman, an improvisation-based trio, with bassist Andrew Kushin and DJ Quest.
