Todd Hunter's recall is not rose-coloured. "I didn't think I'd ever come back to Dragon," says the band's founder, bassist, sometime songwriter and sole survivor. "There are such mixed memories for me. There were incredible highs but too Dragon Sunshine To Rain Songs | 1. | Sunshine |

Sunshine To Rain songs
$6.75 Contains the bonus track "Every Ghetto," which follows "What Goes Around."
In 1994, Nas dropped his debut, ILLMATIC. More than just a classic, it's perhaps the definitive East Coast street hip-hop record, bereft of cliché, rife with rich, inventive rhymes. His early coronation proved both blessing and curse, as his three follow-ups, while shining next to most platinum peers, never reached the ingenious heights of his introduction. Just by the title, STILLMATIC makes obvious its yearning to recapture that feel, a ridiculously tall order if not an impossible one, but it comes dangerously close, which merely makes it one of the top albums of its year.
At times it feels as if half of STILLMATIC consists of shots at Jay-Z, ex-cohort Prodigy, and others, at times thinly veiled, other times not veiled ...

| | Whole Lotta Bluegrass: A Bluegrass Tribute To Led Zeppelin CD (2005)
Sunshine To Rain CD music
$14.29 Unfortunately for rock music, bluegrass has officially replaced Muzak as its easy listening interpreter. What started off as a series of irreverent tributes thinly veiled as novelties has now become a full-blown epidemic of "good old boy" elevator music. It's an unfortunate thing for bluegrass as well, because as the cut-out bins begin their eventual collapse under the dead weight of another Now Entering Sandman County -- A Rodeo Clown Tribute to Metallica collection, ...
| | Eddie Spaghetti Old No. 2 CD (2005) Digipak
Sunshine To Rain music CDs
$9.89 Now that the Supersuckers have become a productive cottage industry thanks to the good people at Mid-Fi Records (namely the band itself), 'Suckers frontman Eddie Spaghetti has given us his second solo album in as many years with 2005's Old No. 2. Like his previous solo disc Sauce, Old No. 2 is dominated by covers, though Eddie wrote a whopping four new songs for this set (double his output for Sauce), and since this album boasts a significantly lower goofiness quotient than his previous go-round, he offers us some solid and literate country-rock tunes, including the ode to touring "Here We Go" and a rueful look back at a busted romance, "Some People Say." Old No. 2 is in the tradition of the Supersuckers' periodic visits to the land of twang, with even the AC/DC and Coasters covers boasting a semi-acoustic sawdust-on-the-floor vibe, and his ...
| | ! Myth Takes CDs (2007) Limited Edition
Sunshine To Rain songs
$10.59 With 2007's MYTH TAKES, the Brooklyn-based dance-punk octet !!! (aka Chk Chk Chk) presents an outing that's notably more accessible and immediately engaging that its predecessors. Not only have frontman Nic Offer and company reined in the excessive swearing (see the expletive-laden LOUDEN UP NOW), they have imbued their brand of robot rock with added elasticity and energy, as best revealed on the fast-paced opening title track, which coasts along on a twangy surf/spaghetti Western vibe, and the pulsing, club-ready "Heart of Hearts."
However, those worried that the ensemble has dulled its mischievous edge will be reassured by the searing, frenetic "All My Heroes Are Weirdos" and the atmospheric, groove-steeped "Bend Over Beethoven," two tunes that prove that !!!'s blatantly quirky and experimental side has been toned down, but not forgotten. For those intrigued by !!!, but put off by the band's uber-hipster archness, MYTH TAKES may be the point where they join in the party.
Of all the dance-punk revivalists, !!! has been the most consistently interesting and challenging, not to mention the group most likely to fill the dancefloor on indie rock night. While their previous album, the political and righteous Louden Up Now, was good enough to vault them to the level of the bands that inspired them (Gang of Four, the Pop Group, Liquid Liquid), Myth Takes firmly establishes them there. It's a different fire that burns here for !!!, mostly setting aside political concerns for fiery dancefloor rave-ups. The band sounds inspired, like they are plugged directly into a wall socket. The first three tracks are like opening a door and being blasted backward by ...

| | Pat Band Jordan April's Fools CD (2007)
Sunshine To Rain CD music
$10.15 The Pat Jordan Bands sound and style are the products of nights in a garage, days in a warehouse, and moments onstage. More than the sum of its parts, the band is based in the singer-songwriter style; aware of their influences, but creating something new, and quite their own. Each song is a story unto itself, both lyrically and melodically. The initial words and notes that evolve into individual pieces of music are born of experiences and memories, positive and otherwise, and though they are the thoughts of just one person, theyre added draw is their accessibility and the bands desire to move you both inside, and to your feet.Though most artists are hesitant to confine themselves to a genre, the Pat Jordan Band is best described as acoustic-rock. And while comparison to other artists is inevitable, the best way to understand the Pat Jordan Band is to see them perform because onstage in front of a crowd is where the Pat Jordan Band is most comfortable, and where they most belong.Singer and songwriter Pat Jordan was born and raised in Santa Rosa, California into a large and loving family. His first instruments were the piano and accordion; he didnt pick up a guitar until high ...
