Music critics and highbrow listeners may look down their nose at Justin Timberlake, doubting that the celebrated former N'Sync leader is good for more than light, frothy dance-pop. While the album certainly sets out to entertain, it's also full of ambitious, well-constructed grooves that prove the superstar is serious about getting down and dirty. The album steps up the Michael Jackson-influenced sound of JUSTIFIED by delving deeper into club music, hip-hop, and funk, creating a bumping, writhing soundtrack for a set of songs unabashedly about sex.
Timberlake spared no expense recruiting some of the best producers on the scene. Beatmaker extraordinaire Timbaland is a primary collaborator, and his experimental stutter-funk landscapes make for the album's best moments (the title track, for example, or the spare, driving lead-off single "Sexyback"). Early Prince is a major touchstone for much of the disc, but Timberlake also draws on rolling, Dirty South jams ("Chop Me Up") and smooth, urban-contemporary loverman R&B ("My Love"). Its obsession with the bedroom notwithstanding, FUTURESEX/LOVESOUNDS shows Timberlake moving toward an exciting musical maturity.

simple, unimaginatve, manufactured ... not very interesting at all. it's amazing what passes for music these days. it doesn't surprise me that this is up for a grammy. crap usually wins, and it's impossible to take the grammys seriously. but the fact that this has gotten even a single positive review, by people who supposedly know music, now that does surprise me.

Any one who calls this real music is brain dead. It is noting but annoying suger coated sound made by a machine. It is just an example of how people do not appriciate real talent in music nowadays and that mtv has taken over the whole music industry. If you want real music, check out some old school metal like,Judas Priest,Accept,Black Sabbath,or Megadeth.Long live METAL!!!

Daron from S.O.A.D. said it best on "Can you say brainwashed?" Not only is the world suffering from GBW, but we get another flipping finger from the poppish little boy Justin. Not only is he ugly, but his music is ugly too! The lamest album there is, I decided to listen to samples so it can infuriate me, which it did! The song "Bringing Sexy Back?" is probably worst song to have been made in the history of music. The song is also a joke for it to be considered hip pop, even Rob Zombie's "Foxy, Foxy" was a lot better than this crap. Then there is "Chop Me Up" and "Summer Love" ha ha ha ha, I don't get it. Stupid sounds, stupid songs, ugly pop singer trying to be hardcore. What's more shocking is Rick Rubin collabirating in one of the songs! Dang, Mr. Rubin did nice work with a lot of cool artist like Slayer, Audioslave, Rage Against The Machine, Run DMC, AC/DC, Jay Z, Johnny Cash, and he is producing Metallica. Wait Metallica, and he did something like Justin Timberlake? This is not good for Metallica. Sexyback and Sexy Ladies are pretty stupid for a song. Horrible, to finalize it. A man once said "Bringing sexy back", while I say "off with his head"! Even GG Allin can make a better album than this crap. By the way, Ramones warned the people about this crap and they were right. Worst album of 2006.

T.j. Braylock also known as rapper Navyseal was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin in 1983. After his fourth birthday, Tj’s mother and father split due to differences in their lifestyles. Floyd Braylock, T.j.’s Father had lived the life of a pimp and a hustler and Veronica Nash; T.j.’s mother was tired of living that life. T.j. his mother and older brother moved to Baltimore, Maryland where he attended several elementary and middle schools . Even though T.j. had a caring mother and grandmother to look after him, he still found his way into consistent trouble. After understanding what happened with his mother and Father, and being surrounded by family members who were known addicts in the neighbor hoods where he lived; T.j. Decided to get serious about life and his future in his 11th grade in high school. Until this day T.j. takes pride in not falling to the perils of the drug game. Although T.j. was surrounded by drug feigns all his life he didn’t know that he would be losing his favorite uncle to A.I.D.S. in 1999. Then, T.j. Decided to never let the drug game control his life. Running the streets and hanging with his homeboys felt like that’s all there was until one day he realized that living that life will leave his unborn son with nothing. So T.j. Decided to get serious about his rap career when he became part of a local group in high school named Hellcity. Hellcity’s other group members at the time were J-Roc and Luckyhands. After high school the group had a falling out with their label at the time Harris One Records. Then the group decided to stay together and make things happen themselves. While T.j. was continuing his education at Catonsville Community College he derived a way for the group to record music in the comfort of their own home. From then on there was no turning back for the inspired rapped. Today the group HellCity no longer exist, the trio decided to go their separate ways . Hellcity is now Hellcity Records LLC., The Ceo and President is T.j. Braylock and his friends that started him on his way still to this day have a place they can always call home. Hellcity Records is versatile and open to all genres of music. Currently the label only houses two artist, NavySeal himself and the vice president of the company Eric Hockaday also known as Ezzy. Although the majority of music recorded by Hellcity Records is considered to be hardcore rap, the label plans to reach out to a lot of other genres of music once the label acquires artist to do so. If you were a rock fan in Seattle in the early nineties you were a fan of Kim Virant and her band Lazy Susan. With their Stonesy double guitar stomp and Kim’s charismatic vocals, Lazy Susan ruled the club scene, working their way from small venues to routinely selling out 1000 person capacity rooms. Local radio rock stations KISW and KXRX played their first locally released album, “Twang,” and soon the labels were calling.
