My full name is Benjamin Alexander Seifert, but I am most commonly known by Alex Seifert. I was born on September 16, 1987 in Denver, Colorado. I speak English, German, and Japanese. My interests include making music (obviously), learning languages, sleeping, badminton, photography, webdesign, graphics design, and other thing various things that are too many to list here. My interest in making music began when a friend of mine showed a program he purchased for the computer. It included pre-recorded, royal-free loops, of which the average Joe could drag onto a time line and have his or her own song finished within minutes. That looked like fun, so I went out and purchased a program similar to his. At the time I was using an Apple Macintosh, so I purchased the brand new Garageband which Apple had just newly released. I played with it and played with it and played with it. My first few songs were something of a mess, but I kept playing and trying new things all the same. Eventually, my Apple iBook that I had been using died. That meant I had to purchase another program for a Windows PC, since I did not have to money to buy another Apple Macintosh. The program I purchased was a small program, which did not include pre-recorded loops. This meant I had to find another way to make music. I quickly found a cheap solution, and borrowed a keyboard one of my good friend's older brother had, but did not use for making music anymore. In fact, he had used it as a paint ball target for quite some time. Fortunately, it still worked. And with a little cleaning, it was as good as new (except a bit sticky). Without any pre-recorded loops to aide my music creation, I had to learn how to play the keyboard. After several attempts at it, it seemed hopeless. I took a break from music creation for a while. One day, when cleaning up my room, I found the keyboard again which I had stuffed into a corner. I pulled it out, dusted it off, plugged it in, and tried again. This time I had more success. I made a couple of songs, which can be found on my singles A Trek through the Woods and Träume, which I found to be decent compared to my past works. Since one thing leads to the next, I went out and purchased another program (again, without pre-recorded loops). This one allowed me to do far more with what I recorded as well as not have such a rediculous limit as six tracks per song. Using this program is where most of my tracks have come from. The Corridor is my latest album and probably my best so far. It features unique music geared more towards my style than the previous albums. I hope you enjoy it and keep on listening!-- Alex

Electric Prunes Feedback CD  (2007)

Corridor
CD $14.29  Top 500 Audio Samples
“Feedback” continues The Electric Prunes long history of innovation, creativity and outright weirdness. This “Feedback” loop offers up a full psychedelic bonfire of tremolo, fuzz, and attitude while managing to make each song in this eclectic collection a unique and individual experience. This is the real thing; played as only those who need help could play it. If there is such a thing as psychedelic/garage rock this is it. The Electric Prunes, on record and in concert, show that the legendary 60’s spirit and music is alive and well and waiting to tweak your eardrums Warning: Electric Prunes exposure is not for the weak of heart or mind. “Feedback” – lust in a long line. The Electric Prunes: Mark Tulin (vocals, guitar, keyboards, bass guitar); James Lowe (vocals, harmonica, percussion); Ken Williams (guitar); Joe Dooley (drums).
Additional personnel: Jeff Evans (guitar, background vocals); Peter Lewis (12-string guitar); Ian Van Der Molen, Harley Feinstein, Walter Garces, Dan Gerass (drums); Ken Eros (kalimba, background vocals); Barbara "Bandshee" Meeks (background vocals); Pamela Lowe.
Fans of classic garage rock and psychedelia were pleasantly surprised when the Electric Prunes began playing live shows again in the new century, showing that they were still a force to be reckoned with, but what was all the more startling is that they cut a solid new album in 2001, Artifact, and two ...

Walkin' West
Haley Sheeler Walkin' West CD  (2007)

Corridor
CD $15.95
“An experience akin to the first time you ever heard Sarah McLachlan, Eva Cassidy, or KT Tunstall”“With all the sterile, emotionless product littering the charts today, it’s nice to hear an album that actually sounds real . . . she has a gift for melody, with lines usually often seeping into your memory upon first listen . . . there are no duds.”So, just who is original singer/songwriter Haley Sheeler? . . . Pennsylvania native, Haley Sheeler, has had a love affair with music all of her life. While her parents had no musical training (or as they readily admit, no musical talent, for that matter), the Sheeler home was never quiet. Music was always there, all genres, always floating through the house from the radio or stereo or her father’s collection of old phonographs. Some of Haley’s earliest memories are of James Taylor’s music, a favorite of her mother’s, and dancing to scratchy old, turn-of-the century records played on one of her Dad’s antique Victrolas. With so much melody around her, it wasn’t surprising when Haley asked to take piano lessons, which she began at the age of 6 and continued for 12 years. During that time, she also added flute, baritone, guitar and banjo to her repertoire. While her love for piano and classical compositions still lingers, her ultimate musical high came when, at the age of 13, she picked up the guitar and began to write music, finding her voice, both literally and figuratively.Soon thereafter, another pivotal moment occurred in Haley’s life when she joined her parents at a Jackson Browne concert. As she watched Browne on the stage, alone, with only his guitar collection ...
