(7 Customer Reviews)
On PRICELESS, Frankie J's follow-up to his 2005 breakthrough album, THE ONE, the Latino vocalist presents another potent set of hip-hop-laden R&B. With his smooth voice and immediately catchy tunes, the singer (aka Francisco Javier Bautista) confidently mines the same pop-tinged stutter-funk terrain as Justin Timberlake and Usher, particularly on "That Girl," an infectious, beat-driven single that features the rhymes of rapper Chamillionaire and the production of Mannie Fresh. For those disappointed that the former Kumbia King focuses on English-language songs here, UN NUEVO DIA (also released in '06) gives fans their Frankie J-en-Espanol fix, making for an impressive pair of records by an undeniably talented crossover artist.

$42.05 JT the Bigga Figga's discoveries and former associates have earned major labels plenty of dead presidents, so a compilation that gives the man a slice of the pie is well deserved. $9.59 Shadiya, the Sultry Soul Singer, is back once again with some tantilizing vocals, thumpin' bass and soul stirring lyrics, just to get YOU in THE MOOD. Yes, she brought you Heart of a Woman, then she brought you Share My World and The Sultry Soul Singer. Now, she brings to the table, The Search is Over. This one experience was a turning point in Shadiya's life. It opened many doors to building her self-esteem, to offering opportunities to interact and perform with some of the hottest stars such as Janet Jackson, Johnny Gill, Jeffrey Osbourne, Ready for the World, Bobby Brown, and DeBarge. In high school she auditioned and won a place in the All-East and then All-State Chorus. Shadiya also enjoyed acting in highschool and tore the house down when she played Queenie in ShowBoat.
