| | Hot Tuna Pair A Dice Found CD - Import Hot Tuna Discography of CDs
Digitally remastered edition of the group's 1990 album originally released on Epic Records and was the bands first album in more than a decade. Hot Tuna was a spin off band from Jefferson Airplane, formed by Jack Cassidy and Jorma Kaukonen. "Pair A Dice Found" features "Eve Of Destruction" by PF Sloan along with Jesse Fuller's "San Francisco Bay Blues" and at the time of release was considered the band's most commercial release to date.
Originally released in 1990, perhaps inspired by the career resurgence of their fellow San Francisco tie-dyes the Grateful Dead, PAIR A DICE FOUND was the first Hot Tuna album in over a decade. Founding members Jorma Kaukonen and Jack Casady, backed with an all-new band, move away from the band's original acoustic blues and country roots into a slicker and more pop-oriented classic rock on tracks like "Love Gone Flat" and "Brand New Toy." However, covers of Mose Allison's "Parchman Farm" and Jesse Fuller's "San Francisco Bay Blues" are more in line with the original Hot Tuna sound.
Hot Tuna includes: Jorma Kaukonen, Jack Casady, Harvey Sorgen, Michael Falzarano.

| | Roy Buchanan Live In Japan CD (2003) (Import) Germany
Pair A Dice Found CD music
$18.39 LIVE IN JAPAN was recorded during the British blues guitarist's 1977 Japanese tour, and includes both Roy Buchanan originals and covers ranging from Larry Williams' "Slow Down" to Don Gibson's "Sweet Dreams."
Live in Japan (2003) is said to have been Roy Buchanan's favorite of all his platters, and ironically, it was never issued stateside. However, as word spread, the title became an essential addition to his discography. Fact is that it may have never come out at all, had there not been a loophole in Buchanan's contract with former label Polydor, giving them control over his non-North American output. Joining the guitarist for his 1977 tour of Japan are John Harrison (bass), Malcolm Lukens (keyboards), and Byrd Foster (drums/vocals). They are likewise the core contributors to Buchanan's most recent studio effort, A Street Called Straight (1976), though no tracks from the album are represented here. Instead, the set ...
| | David Gilmour About Face CD (1984) Remastered
Pair A Dice Found music CDs
$7.59 Combining layered vocals with a heavily looped guitar sound, "Until We Sleep" begins ABOUT FACE with an almost Byrds-like quality, while the gentleness of the acoustic opening to the ballad "Murder" disguises its homicidal subject matter. Both "Love On the Air," and "All Lovers are Deranged," are distinguished by lyrics written by Pete Townshend, and "Blue Light" is an attempt at funk with a Floydian flavor. ...

| | Jefferson Airplane Sweeping Up The Spotlight: Live At The Fillmore East 1969 CD (2007)
Pair A Dice Found album
$7.59 Jefferson Airplane were less focused in 1969 than they had been in the Summer of Love two years before. Recorded at the Fillmore East, these performances find the Airplane coming off their most recent album, Volunteers, released a month earlier, with the band a lot looser (drug use aside) and fractured. The factions in the group were presenting themselves during performances, and this set is no exception. Guitarist Jorma Kaukonen and bassist Jack Cassidy connected and jammed like they would have been just as content without the vocals getting in the way, Grace Slick and Paul Kantner combined their voices and played off each other, while Marty Balin screamed and crammed ...

$5.79 Problems with the Mushroom label delayed the release of Magazine, which eventually went platinum and peaked at number 17 on the album charts. Only the hard-rocking "Heartless" made it into the Top 40, and the album didn't really live up to Heart's last few efforts. 1976's Dreamboat Annie showed stronger songwriting, while Little Queen ...
