Digitally remastered edition of the group's 1990 album originally released on Epic Records and was the bands first album in more than a decade. Hot Tuna was a spin off band from Jefferson Airplane, formed by Jack Cassidy and Jorma Kaukonen. "Pair A Dice Found" features "Eve Of Destruction" by PF Sloan along with Jesse Fuller's "San Francisco Bay Blues" and at the time of release was considered the band's most commercial release to date.
Originally released in 1990, perhaps inspired by the career resurgence of their fellow San Francisco tie-dyes the Grateful Dead, PAIR A DICE FOUND was the first Hot Tuna album in over a decade. Founding members Jorma Kaukonen and Jack Casady, backed with an all-new band, move away from the band's original acoustic blues and country roots into a slicker and more pop-oriented classic rock on tracks like "Love Gone Flat" and "Brand New Toy." However, covers of Mose Allison's "Parchman Farm" and Jesse Fuller's "San Francisco Bay Blues" are more in line with the original Hot Tuna sound.
Hot Tuna includes: Jorma Kaukonen, Jack Casady, Harvey Sorgen, Michael Falzarano.
