Digitally remastered edition of the group's 1990 album originally released on Epic Records and was the bands first album in more than a decade. Hot Tuna was a spin off band from Jefferson Airplane, formed by Jack Cassidy and Jorma Kaukonen. ... Full Description "Pair A Dice Found" features "Eve Of Destruction" by PF Sloan along with Jesse Fuller's "San Francisco Bay Blues" and at the time of release was considered the band's most commercial release to date.
Originally released in 1990, perhaps inspired by the career resurgence of their fellow San Francisco tie-dyes the Grateful Dead, PAIR A DICE FOUND was the first Hot Tuna album in over a decade. Founding members Jorma Kaukonen and Jack Casady, backed with an all-new band, move away from the band's original acoustic blues and country roots into a slicker and more pop-oriented classic rock on tracks like "Love Gone Flat" and "Brand New Toy." However, covers of Mose Allison's "Parchman Farm" and Jesse Fuller's "San Francisco Bay Blues" are more in line with the original Hot Tuna sound.
Hot Tuna includes: Jorma Kaukonen, Jack Casady, Harvey Sorgen, Michael Falzarano.

Pair A Dice Found album
$44.25 A three-disc collection of Yes concert performances dating from the early 1970s to the late '80s, THE WORD IS LIVE presents the pioneering British prog-rock group in its various incarnations. The first disc features live tracks from '70 and '71, when organist Tony Kaye's distinctive Hammond lines figured strongly into the band's performances, which here include a jam-heavy take on "America" that precedes its studio version. The second and third discs are filled with concert appearances that have Kaye's replacements, either keyboardist Rick Wakeman or Patrick Moraz, surging through classics such as "Sweet Dreams" and "Roundabout." The set goes on to include Kaye's return to the fold, most notably on the high-energy medley of "Make It Easy" and "Owner of a Lonely Heart." While hardcore, bootleg-seeking Yes fans have undoubtedly heard some of these recordings before, THE WORD IS LIVE performs a great service by compiling these era-spanning tracks, making the set essential for any enthusiast.

1966's BLUESBREAKERS WITH ERIC CLAPTON is full of portent, as some of its participants would become superstars after its release. Future Cream guitarist Eric Clapton was highly rated enough in the UK blues-rock scene to score second billing, but it wasn't until this recording that he'd had the opportunity to truly stretch out in the studio and show off his awesome soloing skills. Clapton's earlier stint in the Yardbirds had found his ideas largely shouted down by pop-oriented producer/manager Giorgio Gomelsky, but here kindred spirit/producer Mike Vernon simply let Clapton play as he wished. The sympathetic rhythm section of Hughie Flint and future Fleetwood Mac founder John McVie, along with Mayall's best-ever vocals and organ, make BLUESBREAKERS WITH ERIC CLAPTON one of the all-time great British blues albums.
