With its second full-length album of 2006, SIEMPRE, the dapper Simon Cowell-created vocal group Il Divo reinforces its commitment to keeping its adoring fans well stocked with dramatic interpretations of songs from the pop and classical canons. This time around the strikingly handsome international quartet of David Miller, Urs Buhler, Sebastien Izambard, and Carlos Marin offer up a romantic Italian rendition of the evergreen Moody Blues ballad "Nights in White Satin" ("Notte Di Luce") and a smooth Spanish take on Bryan Adams's "Have You Ever Really Loved a Woman" ("Un Regalo Que Te Dio La Vida"), resulting in yet another dazzlingly operatic yet highly accessible outing. As usual, their preformance was top of the line...my biggest problems is that there are not enough of their CD's recorded yet!

what can I say? There arn't enough Il Divo albums to even begin to satisfy their fans!

My favourite song on this album undoubtedly, is Por Ti Sere. How could you just not float away in divine rapture at David's voice, I fiind it so hard to describe, it is just so moving it is hard not to cry! His high tenor is indeed one of the world's best, as so many critics have stated.
Each and every song is just so wonderful to listen to - I honestly can't pick a single song that I would pass over! The songs range from the grandiose more classic style of "Tell that to my heart" to the more upbeat "La Vida Sin Amor". Each song is performed in the trademark Il Divo style we have all come to know so well, with each individual voice having it's own moment, then the grand crescendo towards the end of the achingly beautiful harmony of all four voices building to a hair-raising grand climax.

IL DIVO gives the classical/pop crossover a twist, via a quartet of singers whose vocal chops and model-like looks make them four times the heartthrob threat of predecessor Andrea Bocelli. Masterminded by AMERICAN IDOL's Simon Cowell, Il Divo resonates with an international appeal, thanks to the disparate backgrounds of Sebastien Izambard (France), Urs Buhler (Switzerland), Carlos Marin (Spain), and David Miller (United States). In their own way, Pavement changed the face of '90s rock just as much as Nirvana, at least for those with an ear closer to the ground of the indie scene. In fact, they virtually defined the indie scene for that decade, and their first full-length album SLANTED AND ENCHANTED was the non-anthem of slacker rock.
