The contemporary jazz saxophonist Dave Koz explores the world of movie themes on this tribute to classic Hollywood musical moments, with the help of talented jazz and commercial singers like Johnny Mathis, Barry Manilow, Anita Baker, and Donna Summer. Koz's program of popular themes includes THE WIZARD OF OZ's "Over the Rainbow," the theme from THE PINK PANTHER, and the theme from SCHINDLER'S LIST, all performed in his signature mellow style.

At first listen, I wasn't impressed. But then listening to them again. I really like how each singer has a unique quality that makes it worth while. It's very smooth jazz and good for background dinner music or whatever the occasion is. And Donna Summer has a voice that is incredible! Can't go wrong there.

It's only the beginning, Dave Koz is back on the edge of jazz/pop flavor with the mixture of. . . . .MOVIES!!!!!!! including the all-star studded cast like Johnny Mathis, Barry Manilow, Anita Baker, Donna Summer, Vanessa Williams, India.Arie and Chris Botti. And oh yeah, can't forget Peter White and Norman Brown.
