A different tasting Saliva?
This album is difficult to review. I love Saliva through and through, so it's difficult not to be bias. I think this album shows a transitional period in Saliva. They have a new guitarist, and Josey had his second child while writing the songs, which would explain the softer side of Saliva we see in this album.
Now by no means has Saliva lost their edginess, its just been smoothed off. A good thing? Well I think yes, it shows the band are maturing. The songs are better written, and although there arn't the same feel good guitar solo's, which I think is the only major let down, the album on the whole is masterpiece of modern rock, and the next piece in the puzzle that is Saliva.
