| | Buddy Lee Lewis Rockin Country CD Buddy Lee Lewis Discography of CDs
His style is of Jim Croce, Elvis, Roy Orbison, John Denver and the Beatles. All original music written and performed by Buddy Lee. Born and raised on the west coast of California gave him a real good look at life. " I loved growing up with the ocean and the coastal mountains. The peace and quiet. The views from my bedroom where I could see the great pacific ocean. The breath taking sunsets falling into the sea gave me a great deal of respect for nature. I realized from a young age how lucky I was to be able to understand how peace and harmony work together". His songs come from his heart. His experiences of life, love and nature. I grew up the old fashioned way. My grandfathers taught me how important our word is. How important honor and respect are. I think people should be honest and keep their word. These are a few basic fundimentals for honor. This is what identifies each and everyone of us.There are to many lies on the planet today. Every where you turn someone will lie to you for money or their own personal gain. I ask nothing from anyone and expect nothing in return. When you perform a favor think of nothing in return. I have faith in God, the Creator. I think the path of life is simple when you are in tune with your surroundings. The circumstances of life within themselves are easy. Follow your heart. Follow your dreams. It is only when you reach the top that you truely respect the journey. Let the Creator guide you. It is your God given right to live in peace. Rockin Country
$13.89 Welcome to my world. I've traveled the world and meet a lot of different people before I was 18. The cultures and music have kind of stuck with me. From the soft melodes to the hard drums of Japan. To the hard driving Party Polkas of Germany. My music is not main stream and I have a very select following. So if your in the mind to want a music to kick back and get into. Stop a minute and listen to what I have to offer. LATER/ This is a review that Gerald Van Waes wrote about "ALONE". He has a local radio program in Antwerpen, Belgium 106.7 FM : SA/2 : 20-22 PM. "Sometimes it is good to lay aside an album for a while when something intrudes and prevents the reviewing of it immediately. Now when I finally am able to sit down and relax, all the elements of the album started to comfort me, and I also began to understand the concept well. The songs are played in a certain simple and direct confronting way, and there’s no way around them. With a lo-fi nature and some distortion, this distortion goes beyond the form, and expresses a former disturbed life but with an ability to sit down and resume and admit all the mistakes that have been made, in relations (“alone”), an awareness of his parents efforts to make the best for their son (“my boy”), realisations how inner desires always tend to search for more and more, and to be of an inadequate nature. It really needs courage to realize everything, to stop the continuations of inevitable facts. But it sometimes is impossible for others to understand when someone is ready to start all over, so this sometimes can’t happen on the same spot, so another courage forces a person sometimes to move elsewhere and to search for what might be something better, where to start all over. This is to some degree still very possible to combine within the idea of the more commonly understood “American dream”, which in its core actually does not restrict this, but even promotes such idealism (“On my way”). Steven also looks back on his contribution to the Vietnam War, and does still not feel the human sense in it. Sometimes the slightly distorted recording is a bit painful, but so also are these thoughts, and this might not be the time yet to clean the mess of thoughts completely up, because all things need to be said first. What is left with them, is this feeling of loneliness, of being left alone with it. The new road is marked, and someone seems to be ...

Rockin Country
$16.45 Jim Hightower, born and raised in N.E. Texas, never forgot the tales and history that comprise his East Texas roots, and that's what he writes and sings about. Jim loves the old-fashioned themes of hard times and lost loves that enrich country ballads. Jim has written and recorded such beautiful ballads as: "Ballad of Diamond Bessie" which tells about the mysterious murder of Bessie Moore, once the belle of Jefferson, Texas..., "Ballad of Cullen Baker" who, after the War for Southern Independence, deserted the army and took up outlawing...hiding out in the Sulphur River bottoms, and many other original ballads that reflect his East Texas heritage. Jim's ballads have been featured on area television and many radio stations. He has made numerous personal appearances.Jim's maternal Grandfather Dave Cloninger was born in 1874 at Galla Rock in Pope County, Arkansas. The Cloninger family moved to Yell County when Dave was a teenager. He married Missouri Harris at Gravelly, Arkansas in 1900 and they lived on the Cloninger farm until they moved to Texas in 1903. Dave put Missouri and baby (Jim's aunt Violet) on the train at Ola, Arkansas and hitched a team of mules to a wagon and headed for Texas. It took about a week to drive from just north of ...

Rockin Country
$18.99 John BergstromWestern State O’ Mind I’m a child of the west… the far west… Los Angeles. I’m a city kid who has always loved the open spaces. I was raised on cowboy movies and western displays at museums wherever I could find them. A few years ago, I attended a concert performed by Michael Fleming’s group, New West. There began my journey with the WMA. I was invited to a Sunday jam and I began to learn and write western music.I’ve been involved with music all of my life and have touched western music at various times. It’s been these last few years, however in which I focused on this form of traditional music to the exclusion of others. During this time, I ...
