You know those random phrase generators some websites have, where you press a button and this mad-lib phrase appears? The concept has been modified to create various styles of band names and album titles over the years. And now apparently, it's been modified even further, because not only do the band name and album title of Mechanics of Dysfunction by Beneath the Massacre sound like they were generated by a death metal phrase generator, the songs themselves sound just as clinical and modular. These ten songs honestly could have been put together by a computer that had been fed the basic clichés of death metal, from the dorky Cookie Monster vocals to the double-time drumming to the faux-shocking song titles. In fact, the untitled minute-long track at the album's midpoint sounds like the computer needed to be rebooted: it's literally nothing but a crash-cymbal loop overlaid with a stuttering start-stop guitar line that was almost certainly played on a keyboard-controlled sampler. Sadly, it's by far the most imaginative thing on the album. The rest of Mechanics of Dysfunction sounds like what people who don't like death metal expect all death metal sounds like. ~ Stewart Mason

Mechanics Of Dysfunction Music Beneath The Massacre Mechanics Of Dysfunction Songs Mechanics Of Dysfunction Music Review Average Rating: (4 out of 5 stars) B R U T A L ! ! Well, talk about brutal metal! I haven't been blown away this much since...the last Cryptopsy album. If you like your metal brutal, hard and technical: BUT THIS!!! I don't think you'll hear this year anything more brutal than this! Submitted by olavolijfje (The Netherlands, Amsterdam) Was This Review Helpful? Yes No

emotionless there was a sticker on dis cd when i bought it saying "a cd of sick, sick brutality,-kkkrang" that caught my eye. i agree with buddy above there is no vocal emotion to be found anywhere and the guitars are very technical. i guess it depends what ur idea of brutality is. it is brutal for sure but it doesn't stand out as the most brutal cd i have by any means. i wish they had another guitarist, but the style is killer. i like a couple of da tracks but most sound very similar when i play it straight through its hard to tell whats what. Cold Dark and Extremely Terrifying Very good technical deathcore from these Canadians. Much like there neighbors Crytopsy except these boys are younger. Whats really cool about this disc is that theres really no emotion or melody to be found on it. If your into bands like Cryptopsy, Suffocation, Despised Icon, and Psyopus than you will dig this brutal record. Submitted by primal1035 (new york) Was This Review Helpful? Yes No

Mechanics Of Dysfunction album
$12.59 The first album by Necrophagist, 1999's Onset of Putrefaction, was actually a completely solo recording made by Turkish guitar prodigy Muhammed Suicmez, who also handled the vocals, bass guitar, and drum programming. Slowly but steadily, that album became legendary in the death metal underground for its over-the-top technical excess and death-defying guitar heroics. As a result of that notoriety, Suicmez was able to put together a full four-piece band of live musicians with enough skill and endurance to play his difficult, fast, and intricate compositions. Epitaph is the first ...

Mechanics Of Dysfunction CD music
$21.05 Originally recorded in the 1970s, this digitally remastered re-release from French actress/singer/sex symbol Brigitte Bardot contains seven previouslly unreleased tracks.
Not to be confused with other albums given the simple title "Brigitte Bardot" (such as her 1963 self-titled debut LP), this 2004 CD is a compilation of 1969-1973 recordings, many of which are hard to come by otherwise. In fact, even the otherwise comprehensive three-CD Initiales BB Bardot box set doesn't have about half of these, and two 1970 tracks ("Quand Mon Amour Danse" and "Soyons Deux") ...
