We are creating quite a buzz in the Industry at the moment and hopefully this will give you further information on the band and our career so far.To give you some background information, AOD released their first album ‘Science of the Mind’ via a small independent label; Tomcat Records in 2004. Now, we have a new set, new material and a new EP released April 22nd 2006. Baketown Swingin
$12.65 Normally, all that emerges from a freestyle battle is one winner and a bunch of losers. Now imagine a battle featuring both Bill E. Shakes, a.k.a. Hazm@, and Mr. Moser, a.k.a. ProZach. Both known for their wit, hustle, and flow, the two rivals were now pitted against each other on a local college campus. Shakes and Moser were like two UFC gladiators, foaming at the mouth in anticipation of the bell. The DJ dropped it, and the rest is history. Spectators that night did not see a winner and a loser. Instead, they witnessed the first live performance from what would become Potnus, one of hip-hop’s most talented up-and-coming independent acts. Within a week, the two had an energetic and entertaining 20-minute set. They had penned and produced '503 Ohh', the first single off their debut album, 'Join the Club', which was released in July, 2001. When asked what it was like to start as a hype man, Moser replied, “I just wanted in and this seemed like an opportunity to creep my toes through the back door." He knew that all he wanted to do was rap, as he had always "loved every aspect of hip-hop culture." However, up to that point, he never had the means to record. He realized ...
| | Shan-Shan Blow Ur Mind CD (2007)
Baketown Swingin
$9.59 An artist emerging from the misunderstood streets of Sacramento, California is the female lyricist rated next. Her name is Shan Shan and she’s ready to make a bold statement while climbing her way up to the top in this music industry. The music genre she hails from is hip hop and has been rapping and performing for sixteen years. Her career started off at the young, tender age of twelve where she was asked to assist in a skit for what is known as Vacation Bible School. Her friends caught a whiff of the fire and suggested that she step in the front and lead them. After that display of raw talent, her mother called up a friend which resulted in her first studio session. Some of her most prestigious acts were revealed for venues such as bay area church conventions, ...
