In what is one of the more unique takes on a 1980s hits collection, I THINK WE'RE ALONE NOW--80S HITS & MORE combines three of mall-rat sensation Tiffany's hits--ironically enough, two of which are covers of songs from the '60s--with the singer's versions of a diverse set of songs by artists ranging from the Smiths to Blondie. The resulting compilation captures the jaunty, gleefully decadent spirit of a decade that continues to fascinate years down the road.

Average Rating: (4 out of 5 stars) 4 stars

5 stars Party Party !!
Gorgeous Tiffany is the one reason why you should add this to your collection. Some of the tracks are better now they have been remixed, but there are some others better best left as they were!!! Puts todays releases to shame in terms of quality though !!!

4 stars A Good CD
This is a great CD for long time Tiffany fans. Don't let the poor artwork scare you away!!! (Sorry Tiff!) The new re-recordings of Tiff's classics are great but I'd say the gem of the disc is Tiffany's cover of Shania Twain's "You've Got A Way". This is definitely worth a purchase.

5 stars retro fantastic
great cd from start to finish as for the new recording of " i think were alone now" is fantastic but listing to it and the original im 99 percent sure there re-used the orig 12" dub instrumental track and used new vocals and backing beats , listen to the instrumental and the last chorus - fade out the chimes are same as the original. is this a alternative version? never the less still fantastic. if your a tiffany fan first time round or just discovered her underated voice this album wont disapoint you

2 stars Unreleased Recordings.....
Okay, this cd is a compilation of unreleased recordings from the last 20 years. although "you've got a way" was released on a tribute cd to shania twain, and "the beat goes on" was released on a tribute cd to sonny and cher, they are the only tracks worth buying this cd for. the original recordings of "i think we're alone now", "i saw him standing there", and "could've been" are raw and unmastered. the quality of this cd is 50/50, some good, some bad. i am a fan of tiffany, i love her music very much, but i only keep this cd for "you've got a way", and "the beat goes on". if you are a die hard fan, buy this cd! otherwise, buy "dust off and dance", "the color of silence", or "just me"!

4 stars NOT bad...not always great...but ALWAYS TIFFANY
First off, ignore the incredibly horrendous cover art and get ready to enjoy Tiffany. Although newer versions of "I Think We're Alone Now" and "Could've Been" were pretty much unnecessary, the rest of the album is a hit and miss of some finer tunes. Tiffany's version of "Forever Young" (made popular by the dance scene from Napoleon Dynamite) is spot on and possibly better than the original. "Call Me" and "Kids In America" sound a bit forced, but "Voices Carry" is an excellent, more mellow interp than the original. With a gaggle of other covers and fun songs, this one is hard to pass up if you are a true Tiff fan. Enjoy!
