| | John Bowden Two Guitars At Once CD John Bowden Discography of CDs
Hello! Thanks for stopping by CD Baby and visiting my page here. I have several CD's I've produced and on this one, I am playing some tunes in the conventional method and others playing 2 separate guitars at the same time using a technique called "hamer-ons". I've been playing 2 guitars at once for about 23 years now. Born a natural lefty, I had to learn how to play a right handed guitar at the age of 9 as there was no one available to teach me how to play left handed. I taught myself how to play a left handed guitar many years later after mastering the right hand guitar. Playing both at the same time was difficult at first although it did come to me naturally somehow. I mean I was able to do it from the moment I tried it. It did however take a couple of years to really get it going. It's a blast and it is the way I prefer to play now. I performed on a Fox TV show called "30 Seconds To Fame" and also have performed for several Public Access Television stations in Southern California. I am presently seeking more television exposure for the 2 guitars played at the same time. Thanks again for stopping here and I wish you well!John Bowden alias "2 Guitar John" Two Guitars At Once Music John Bowden Two Guitars At Once Songs | 1. | SKYWALKER |

Two Guitars At Once album
$13.15 ted quinn is a singer, songwriter and cultural activist in joshua tree, california. recorded entirely in analog at the rancho de la luna studio in joshua tree, in which quinn is a partner, 'help wanted' looks at the state of love and war atthe turn of the millenium with healthy trepidation and, ultimately, hard-won faith. challeging the super power status of his native america, quinn startswith a minimalist, dream-laced meditation - with musique concrete production by tony mason - on his home town, 'la porte, indiana,' his family's move to california and the resulting change in course of a young life. declaring the 'death of cool,' quinn employs a rich, spector-esque wall of sound and gentle singing style to denounce the cruelty of modern society, while keeping an eye out for a sign of redemption. fred drake recorded and mixed 'tar beach' as per quinn's wishes to make it sound like a motown ballad played over a transistor radio, which has been left out on the beach overnight, from which the battery acid has mixed with salt water. '29 palms' was written for a marine widow in the small town near joshua tree, home of the world's largest military base. the tell-tale signs ...

Two Guitars At Once songs
$15.19 Are you sick and tired of Bush, Cheney, Rumsfeld, and the way theRepublicans have been running this country for the last five years? Are you horrified that thousands of brave young Americans have beenkilled and wounded in a war that was justified by lies? And that thebig corporations such as Halliburton have been raking in tens of billions of dollars to service this war? Does it sicken you that gay marriage and letting women have control over their own bodies seem to be more threatening to many Americans than a President who lies to start wars, outs CIA agents, spies on citizens, sees himself as above the law, and who does EVERYTHING he does in the interests of the very rich?Well, you are not alone! And aren't you sick and tired of just being mad and grousing and grumping about it? Of reading all those depressing articles on the Internet? Wouldn't it be great if there was another way...like maybe a BAND?Yeah, that's it... a band for people who feel like WE do! With songs that can express our frustrations, but at the same time, put smiles back on our faces, make us clap our hands, stomp our feet, and bring all of US together!Well, that band is here! US-THE BAND ("The Band That Bush Built!")is announcing the release of its first CD: "GLOBAL WARNING"! And every patriotic red-blooded American who is even HALF as upset as we are about what has been happening is going to want one! If you think that Bush is a great president for any reason, DON'T BUY IT! You're not one of US... you're one of THEM!On the other hand, if you think he is possibly the biggest jerk ever to occupy the Oval Office, you are going to LOVE this record!Built around the strong ...

| | Eleisha Eagle Lamplighter CD (2007)
Two Guitars At Once CD music
$17.09 Can You imagine what Queen would have sounded like had Freddie Mercury been a woman and Brian May chosen the piano over guitar? Interested? So was Eleisha Eagle, an independent artist known for her theatrical live shows. She took the stage to the studio and produced a mini-musical of her experiences, complete with tap dances and chorus girls. You don't need to be a Broadway buff to appreciate Eagle's nod to the Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers era of entertain ment. It's all on the new CD - "Lamplighter". A collection of sets painted with words and melodies.REVIEW by BRAD GOINS: Lamplighter, the newest CD from L.A. resident and Lake Charles native Eleisha Eagle may get lumped in with early Tori Amos and like sounds. There's nothing wrong with that. But to my ears, Eagle's new disc sounds much closer to Bowie(especially Hunky Dory and the first two Anthony Newley-inspired albums). I even hear, I think, a bit of Bowie's disciples, the neo-glitter band Placebo, in this CD, in the sometimes androgynous singing, quirky lyrics and otherworldly sound effects - especially the Mellotron-like sound that keeps popping up to great effect throughout the record. Eagle only approaches the raw force of Placebo once - and that's in the stunning, apocalyptic, large-scale, noisy, orchestral climax to "My Level." This exquisitely produced clamor is an equal to the sonic meltdowns in Beck's "Lonesome Tears" and Godspeed You! Black Emperor's "Sleep."The songs on Eagle's Lamplighter CD are, to my ear, really much closer to cabaret than mainstream pop or rock. Like Sondheim and ...
