Princess Alice And The Broken Arrow album
$10.29 Since becoming wildly popular in the 1980s, Irish band U2's sound has grown from a raw, soulful rock to a more electronica-tinged, experimental brand of pop. In line with this, U2's stage act has grown into a showcase of lavish special effects, cutting-edge sound, and spectacular multimedia enhancement. POPMART features Bono and the band performing live in Mexico City in support of their 1997 album, POP. Performing 24 old and new tracks, U2 puts on a concert that is a stunning spectacle.
Described as a sci-fi disco supermarket, the PopMart tour was all trash & kitsch, including a giant mirrorball ...

$13.59 This is an interview with John Lennon that was recorded just hours before he was killed.
Lennon's solo career began with Unfinished Music No 1 - Two Virgins. The sleeve depicted him and Ono standing naked, and the cover became better known than the disjointed sound effects contained within. Three months later Lennon issued Unfinished Music No 2 - Life With The Lions. The Plastic Ono Band enjoyed radical hits with 'Give Peace A Chance', 'Cold Turkey' and 'Instant Karma'. The groundbreaking John Lennon - Plastic Ono Band, released in January 1971 was both brilliant and disturbing. The following year Sometime In New York City was issued. At the end of a comparatively quiet 1973, Lennon released Mind Games, an album that ...

Princess Alice And The Broken Arrow Music Review Average Rating: (5 out of 5 stars) A Career Best? Perhaps! I have to start off by saying, while I've been familiar with Magnum over the years,I was not an avid fan. Sure I enjoyed some of their recordings, but they didn't knock me over. Until now! Wow,this record is pure class. The songs, production and performances are all first class. Album opener "When We Were Younger" starts thing off in fine stlye. Things really get going for this reveiwer on "Like Brothers We Stand" I cannot get this song outta my head. A great vocal from Bob Catley, who kills on this record. His voice has just gotten better over the years. Next track "Out Of The Shadows" starts off with a great guitar riff that rocks as hard as Magnum ever has. "Dragons Are Real" is an instant classic. Try not to sing along. I could go on and on as every track is a keeper,no fillers here, but I won't. If you enjoy melodic adult rock music, you will enjoy this record. As I stated earlier,I was not a huge Magnum fan before, so I'm not some fanboy. This really is a great album. Check it out! Submitted by sbeppel (Steve Beppel,Pottstown,Pa.) Was This Review Helpful?
