From start to finish, MUSIC IS MY SAVIOR emphasizes Mims's versatility, as he dips into crunk, hyphy, screw, and g-funk (see verse one of "Why I'm Hot"), all the while repping for New York City. While critics may claim his chameleon act adds little originality to the styles he dabbles in, they can't deny that he flips them all reasonably well. The Bad Seed, Bun B, Junior Reid, Cham, and Latoya Luckett are featured.

Yeah who ever thinks this cd is bad has no idea what hiphop is... this guy is nice man. His lyrics is street and club. He can go either way, that is why it gets 5 stars. You guys hatin listen clearly.

MIMS has no lyrical content. He has no foundation, he has no beats and he has no respect. Succesful and working professional sure we can give him that. But he is not hot. This guy is why I don't listen to the radio or watch tv. Fake candy biter. He will never bring true music, Wu-Tang is hot, A Tribe Called Quest is hot, Black Moon is hot, Gang Starr is hot even Jadakiss is hot, "so let me tell you why your not".
