Taking the command and promise of II Timothy 1:8-9 to heart, TESTIFY is doing just that: testifying to what God has done in their lives and what he can do in the lives of others. Believing that obtaining salvation is the most important decision anyone can make, TESTIFY wants to do all it can to make sure everyone they meet knows the importance of that decision. Feeling the call of God on their lives to minister to the hearts of people, Brent and Kenneth Swanner formed TESTIFY in February of 1995. Landon Thompson joined TESTIFY September 25, 1999. TESTIFY is a full time music ministry dedicated to carrying out the call God has on their lives. TESTIFY comes to you with a servant's heart, making no demands. Giving the Lord their heart, mind, body and soul, they are, "Ready to Serve."TESTIFY can be found in churches from Massachusetts to Denver. TESTIFY has also had the honor of singing at the Southern Baptist Convention, the Louisiana Baptist Convention, Gaither Vocal Band Homecoming Concerts, Chick-fil-a Corporate Headquarters, Theaters in Branson, at TBN with Dennis Swanberg, the Grand Ole Opry, and in Nashville for a concert at Lifeway Christian Resource Center of the Southern Baptist Convention. In October 2001 TESTIFY was again in Nashville to sing at the Roy Acuff Theater for the "Heal Our Land Benefit Concert" for the victims of 9-11.In 1999 Testify begin working with Michael Sykes. Michael produces albums for The Gaither Vocal Band and The Oak Ridge Boys. Michael produced two albums for Testify: "Something Worth Living For" and "Keep Walking." 2003 brought a new friend to Testify. Buddy Mullins, former member of The Mullins, The Gathier Vocal Band and Sunday Drive. Buddy produced Testify’s album, "The Highest Call." "The Highest Call" was released in June 2003. Joe Kempf, Pastor of Assumption Catholic Church.In the summer of 2001, Praz began as an idea, to lead the congregation of Assumption Church in O'Fallon, MO with contemporary music. The group that initially formed consisted of 7 or 8 members, but very quickly diminished down to 4 members, which included Michelle Staebell (vocals), Cathy Pescarino (vocals), and Mike Gagliano (guitar). They would soon to begin playing the weekly 5pm Saturday mass, which they still play to this day. After losing the original keyboard player, Mark Sacco joined the group early in 2002. The sound of Praz started to slowly form, but was not quite there yet. Another idea soon emerged, which was to have Mike Gagliano play drums and bring in another guitar player. In the spring of 2002, this idea became real, as Kevin Hinkebein joined the 5pm mass group. The summer went by, and the five members of the 5pm group were meshing musically, spiritually, and personally. The sound of Praz found its roots and began to grow. It was later that year when Praz began getting comments to make a cd, another idea, which they honestly thought, would stay just an idea. Then one day before mass, Kevin Hinkebein asked them to listen to a song he had just written. This song was so spiritual and moving, it made them think that they possibly could record a cd. The name of this song was "Father I", soon to be on their first cd. It was this song that inspired the whole group to start writing. By the spring of 2003, Praz had enough material to go into the studio to start their first cd project. In August of 2003, Praz went into the studio to record an 11-song original cd. This album is a collection of songs and music that has been circulating around in my head for the last ten years or so. I am excited to finally have it in a form that I can share with you. I hope that it will be comforting, throught-provoking, and inspiring to you in your personal walk with the One who created us all.I guess my music is all about being human. For me it is encouragement, therapy, and prayer, in about as pure a form as I can express it. My sincerest hope is that you can find something in common with the struggles and joys that I have experienced in my life and I am trying to convey in my songs.I like to think of my music as crisp but not overpowering, comforting but still challenging. I use simple themes and messages, but if you dig a little deeper, there are more complex overtones and connections there as well. I have been told that people can really connect to my music because of their own experiences.The title track "God Has Been Good To Me" is a simple introduction to my music, expressing just what the title says.
