If you're only going to get one Madonna record, or if you want to find out what the fuss is about, start here. THE IMMACULATE COLLECTION compiles the cream of Madonna's '80s singles, from the dancefloor innocence of "Holiday" to the soul-searching pop of "Live To Tell" and "Like A Prayer" to the forward-looking, beat-crazy stylings of "Vogue." Included are a few singles, "Vogue" among them, that didn't make it onto any of Madonna's proper studio albums, and a couple of cuts exclusive to the collection, most notably the weird, Lenny Kravitz-produced "Justify My Love."
Though there are a few ballads, the vibe is dance-pop, and to that end most of THE IMMACULATE COLLECTION was remixed by Shep Pettibone, Madonna's producer of choice at the time. Biography:Rose C. Belk is a recording artist, songwriter and minister of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Rose is anything, but the ordinary gospel artist rather a minstrel of God’s presence.Rose, a native of Charlotte, North Carolina, began singing as a small child and gave her life to Christ at the age of twelve. The youngest of eight children, Rose was most impressed by the love God has shown her. Her parents were very instrumental in this impression and encouraging Rose to use her God-given talent of singing to His Glory. From this, Rose recognized her foundation in Christ and her gift to sing. Rose cultivated her gift, by singing throughout the East Coast. Rose is a former member of the Praise & Worship team at Victory Christian Center (VCC) in Charlotte, NC, where she has been an active member for 26 years. She now, serves as the Director of the VCC Young Adult Praise Team. Rose has opened for Helen Baylor and Phil Driscoll and sang at many conferences, churches, conventions and other special events. He immediately took to the guitar and spent hours in his room teaching himself to play by listening to albums from Nirvana and the Beatles. Once he got the basics down, Matthew began to write lyrics and perform in bands. Music quickly became the main focus in his life.After spending a few years of performing in bands, 21 year-old Matthew decided to go in his own direction. His first opportunity to perform solo as a singer-songwriter arose when he booked an opening slot for a large and heavily promoted local show. Performing with a bass player and drummer, Matthew Reveles made his solo debut to a sold-out crowd at the Old Brickhouse in Phoenix, where he received a great reaction from the audience. Motivated by the crowd's response, and with easy access to a recording studio in the house where he lived, Matthew was eager to record his solo material. Through simple trial and error, Matthew taught himself the basics of studio recording, and the end result of those sessions was an impressive seven-song EP. What is perhaps most impressive is the fact that beyond recording and mixing, Matthew performed every vocal, guitar, bass, mandolin, drum, lap steel, cello, mouth harp, dobro, slide, and clarinet part on his own. After pressing a few hundred copies, Matthew began giving the demo away to people at his shows and mailing copies of the demo for free to interested listeners across the country, only asking them to share it with their friends.
