Six albums into her career, Faith Hill already has more than enough hit singles to fill a best-of album, so this 13 track compilation is a fine summation of her career up to 2007. Containing seven number-one country hits, many of which crossed over to the pop charts, HITS is a fine argument for Faith Hill as one of the top country singers of her time. From pop crossover smashes like "This Kiss" and "Breathe" to more traditional country songs like "Mississippi Girl" and "The Way You Love Me," HITS is a solidly entertaining listen. However, for good measure, HITS also adds three live songs--the Janis Joplin standard "Piece of My Heart," "There Will Come A Day," and "Cry"--as well as one solid new single, "Beautiful." Tastefully packaged and intelligently sequenced as well as musically unbeatable, HITS is a textbook example of how to do a mid-career best-of collection, and is far more listenable than the average uninspired cash-in.

Hits Music Review
Average Rating: (3.5 out of 5 stars) Amazing!! Having basically every song recorded by Faith and then some, some might think that a Hits album would not be necessary for me to purchase. However, Faith’s latest single Red Umbrella is a solid and wonderful addition to this record. It’s an uplifting song that can’t help cheering me up at anytime of the day. To add a live version of Stronger from her very successful Soul2Soul tour was a wonderful bonus. This song is amazingly soulful and truly shows the depth of her talent. There is something to be said of a Hits compilation which can take many of us back down memory lane and also expose a new generation to music that expanded the country music genre to so many who would otherwise dismiss it. Get this album!! It’s a wonderful start/addition to your Faith Hill Collection. :) Submitted by LittleOneS2S (Bakersfield, CA) Was This Review Helpful? Yes No 1 of 2 found this helpful.
A Summation, Not A Complete Hit Package! As the written comments on this album read, down at very bottom of the reviewer's comments, this is not your standard "CASH-IN", it should be! Her considerate husband Tim or his record company have given us, 3 count them 3 greatest hits packages. All she and her record company have done is, this one and the Import "There You'll Be", which is totally bogus! We as her fan's want a Volume One & Two or a 2-Disc greatest hits! We do not want a Boxed Set, "New" versions of songs, alternate takes, acoustic versions or Live versions either, you can do that before or after you do the Boxed Set. Please, please the fan's, don't milk the cow sort of speak like Dolly Parton has with all her different packages, but NO real complete greatest hits.
