With recordings as early as her 1935 debut, it presents her story up to the point of her 1947 American breakthrough, and includes most of the landmark songs of her career -- "Mon Légionnaire," "Fais-Moi Valser," "L'Accordéoniste," "La Java de Cézigue," and, of course, "La Vie en Rose." ~ John Bush
