 This is a great compilation
Serious SRV fan should love this CD. It is composed of cuts from other musicians's CD's with Stevie playing along. One of the best is a soaring rendition of The Sky is Crying with Stevie's mentor, Albert King, BB King and Paul Butterfield. There is even a surfer tune, Pipeline that's kind of fun. The liner notes contain some early photos of Stevie with various artists. It completes our collection!

 Decent, but not great
There's a lot of variance in the quality of the live tracks and I already had several of the "previously unreleased" tracks. That was a bit disappointing, but, this is still a must have for SRV fanatics like myself.

 SRV and Friends at their best!
Loved this CD. Have heard most of these guys and songs separately, but this compilation is great! Thanks whoever!

 lost treasures
CD Universe always asks me to submit a review,and I choose to focus on the music rather than the fluff most reviewers make in their comments! Suffice to say that these lost treasures featuring diverse musicians like Dick Dale, makes for rare treats and enjoyable and essential listening that most blues/rock artists cannot match on any level...Kick back and realize how much Stevie is missed in a world that is full of the same,old,same old stuff...His electricity will grab you and you will want to complete your collection with other cd's too...Happy Listening!
