Southern California's (Hed) P.E. are known for their rap-metal hybrid and their ferocious sonic attack. The band's 2007 release INSOMNIA upholds the band's reputation with 14 tracks that draw from hardcore punk, hip-hop, reggae, and heavy metal. A slamming rhythm section and riffalicious guitars drive the songs, but it's frontman Jahred's vocals, which alternate between full-throated screamo and nimble, rapid-fire raps, that make INSOMNIA unique. The g-funk-inspired "Game Over" and "Comeova2night" are standouts.

5 stars Buy this CD!!!
From the opening track, Madhouse, to the last track, Don't Let Me Down, his CD will keep you headbanging and going till the end. Seen every hed concert in Phoenix AZ for, hell, I dont even remember how long. Children is SICK live. BEST SONGS: Madhouse, Suffa, Comeova2nite, Children, Atlantis A.D., Wind Me Up, Dont Let Me Down

5 stars Wow, another solid (hed) PE album
Man...all I can say is awesome!! I went and saw these guys when they were on the Strange Noize Tour, and it was crazy. If you don't have this CD, GET IT. I love Atlantis A.D. Suffa is awesome too, so quit reading this and buy the CD.
