Children Of Chaos! Proceed with caution! Got this album and I wanted to warn everyone. If you dont want to be majorly addicted and be forced to have to listen daily think carefully before buying this cd. I have never since the 90's been so into a band or have found such a sound. Michael McKnight's vocals are amazing and the songs are written like nothing I have heard for a long time. Excellent. Two thumbs up! Submitted by djevil634 (Hollywood, CA) Was This Review Helpful? Great CD For First Time Out I bought this cd because they are one of my MySpace friends. I like what they offered for samples on thier MySpace site. So I took the chance and I found it to be interesting. It has a mix of dark metal sounds and a somewhat popish sound to it. Michael McKnight vocals are outstanding and there are alot of great riffs. This is a CD worth buying. Submitted by mikazuki2002 (Manchester, NH, USA) Was This Review Helpful? Yes No

Purchase Children Of Chaos CD To buy, Click on price to add to cart | Peter Gabriel Scratch My Back CDs (2010) Deluxe Edition
Children Of Chaos album
$14.84 Considering the slow trickle of completed albums he has released since becoming a superstar in 1986 -- just two albums of songs with vocals, paired with two albums of soundtracks and two live records -- deliberate is expected from Peter Gabriel, so the slow, hushed crawl of Scratch My Back is no shock. What may be a shock is that Gabriel chose to follow 2002's Up with a covers album but, like all of his work, this 2010 record is highly conceptual no matter how minimal the end result may be. Designed as the first half of a two-part project where Gabriel would cover 12 different artists who would then return the favor by recording their own versions of Gabriel's compositions -- the counterpart album naturally ...

| | Tipsy Uh-Oh! CD (2001)
Children Of Chaos songs
$11.59 Yuma Joe Byrnes (drums); Alyssa Wendt, Scott Moffett (theremin).
Tipsy's debut album Trip Tease fused easy listening from the '50s & '60s and '90s electronica together so perfectly and distinctively that it was a tough act to follow. Just over four years after Trip Tease's release comes Uh-Oh!, and though it's not the disaster the title implies, it's a little disappointing. Though Uh-Oh! wisely avoids overtly contemporary electronic styles in favor of exotica, lounge, bossa nova, soft rock, and analog synth tomfoolery, its 18 tracks are strangely amorphous, the aural equivalent of a lava lamp -- equally kitschy and hypnotic. Most of the album's tracks blend into soothing yet subversive background music, but there are quite a few standouts: the sleek, slinky opener "Hard Petting"; "Hey!," which sounds like an exotica-tinged version of the Art of Noise's "Close (To the Edit)"; "Sweet Cinnamon Punch," a mutant offspring of '50s and '60s slow-dance numbers; and "Reverse Cowgirl," which mixes sliced-and-diced slide guitar, bouncy brass, and a galloping beat into the sonic equivalent of its title. With evocative cuts like the seductive, slightly campy "Pink Mood" and "Bunny Kick"'s sassy fusion of soft rock and bossa nova, Tipsy gets increasingly filmic, though ...
| | Vikter Duplaix DJ-Kicks CD (2002) (Import) Germany
Children Of Chaos album
$15.55 This is a continuous in-the-mix CD compiled and mixed by Vikter Duplaix.
Though his name isn't familiar to most electronica listeners, Vikter Duplaix earned a volume in !K7's epic mix series DJ-Kicks thanks to an impressive, rangy credit list -- artists from Jazzanova to Erykah Badu to MC Dynamite to Jermaine Dupri. For his own feature (the first under his own name), Duplaix fashioned a house mix ranging far and wide for tracks that probably wouldn't have made much sense out of this setting. Duplaix's style isn't that of a traditional house DJ; he's actually more of a selector, choosing tracks he likes and ones that work well together, but never worrying about beat-matching or blending tracks into each other. After a spoken word opener from his own Critical Point project, Duplaix spins through plenty of crucial tracks, but arranges many of them into mini-sets; after a couple of tracks ...

| | Lio Premier Album CD (1980)
Children Of Chaos music CDs
$14.59 Actually the brainchild of BARBARELLA comic book author Jean-Claude Forrest, Lio (in reality 18-year-old singer and actress Wanda Maria De Vasconcelos) predated the synthetic pop stars of the 21st century by two decades. Released in 1980, her debut album is likewise a futuristic-sounding electro-pop exercise with a sexy, decidedly French sensibility that, on cuts like her Euro-hit "La Banana Split," sometimes sounds like a predecessor to Kylie Minogue, and at other times like disco performed by chipmunks. Nevertheless, it has a sweetly eccentric period charm that has worn well over the decades.
Premier Album (originally released in 1980) is ZE Records' first ...
