Perfection, anyone?
Well, what can you say? These guys have never released officially in New Zealand as far as i know and it was just by chance I got on to them. Smartest thing I ever did. This Album is perfection from start to finish. Kevins lyrical talent is mind blowing and his delivery equally so. With complicated drum beats and sweet, sweet bass lines this just keeps cranking, and the guitars, oh, don't get me started! It's very rare in this day and age to find such a well constructed album with such a strong identity, ladies and gentleman, look no further. Buy it.

My favorite album ever!
This album is amazing! Matisyn sings with so much heart and fealing. The new album has a unique sound along with the lyrics. The lyrics are amazing and Matisyn's voice delivers them in such a sexy and compelling way! All the songs flow well together. None of the songs sound the same, so there is variety. I listen to it every day and never get tired of it. I will listen to it for many years to come!

excellent
for such a quick release this album is amazing and definitely on par with their debut. i was fortunate enough to see them at their cd release party here in houston. they were, of course, absolutely fantastic. go see them on tour now. the best tracks here are In a Red Dress and Alone, Kiss the Flag, Q, and The Pursuit.

Surprisingly An Excellent Follow Up Album
Evans Blue has released their second album in a rather short amount of time from the release of their previous album, however thankfully the music did not suffer at all. In fact I find this album to be slightly superior to their debut. I still think that "Eclipsed" is my top favorite song from their debut, but this album has a far more amount of songs that I enjoy. Among my top favorites are "Q (The Best One Of Our Lives)," "My Damsel: A Confession To An Adversary," "Pin-Up," "Shine Your Cadillac" and "Painted." My only complaint is with "Painted" unfortunately. The song itself is great and one of my favorites, but it goes on for far too long. I enjoy the extended outro up until the shockingly good guitar solo ends at about the 7:30 mark. After that the song takes a horrible downward turn into a bunch of background noise, guitar feedback, chanting and yelling. I could have done without all of that. But otherwise this album is just as good, if not better than their debut and I would strongly recommend it to anyone who is a fan of modern melodic rock music.
