The Midwestern MC known simply as Huey follows in the footsteps of fellow St. Louis rap stars Nelly and Chingy on his debut album, NOTEBOOK PAPER. Hot off the success of his smash lead single, the club banger "Pop, Lock and Drop It," Huey keeps things moving with a slew of slick party anthems set to zooming synthesizers and stammering drum machines. NOTEBOOK PAPER features production from Jazzy Pha, Tha Bakery, and Raw Beatzz, as well cameos from Kydd Trell, Bow Wow, Memphitz, T-Pain, and Lloyd.

 great album for a first time
This album is great. Bout dat, Aye, Closet full of clothes, Tell me this and Money ova are my favorites songs. But for the other one I don't very like them except for Pop lock and drop it. I wish his other cd will be greater than this one but seriously, it's a good album for his first time. Keep perfoming this way and you will be a great one.

Hey For his first CD it tight. His Rymes is tight. "closet Full Of Clothes" and "Aye" Is really tight. He Don't gotta rely on catch phrases to help him be tight. Hes just a straight rapper. It's really koo fo real fo real. Also, All his beats is too tight. Makes the whole CD that much better.

yea this cd very good...i like basically all tha songs on this cd especially "Money Ova" and "luv N Ya Life"...those are hot songs...and "closet Full Of Clothes" is nice too

"Get You Right," a smooth throwback ballad from Miami outfit Pretty Ricky's debut, BLUESTARS, features a hardcore rap that name-checks 1990s groups H-Town and Jodeci. While the four youthful brothers of Pretty Ricky were likely in grade school when these artists had their hits, it's a fitting reference; the quartet's sound reveals an innate feel for the New Jack Swing sound of that time.
