I was born September 3rd 1970 in Umeå in the north of Sweden. There was always a lot of music and instruments around and I was stuck in it early. I started with piano at home, the recorder in school, sang in the childrens choir in church and acted on the local theatre scene. My first band started autumn of '81 when I turned 11. My plan was to be the keyboard player of the band, but unfortunately, that place was already taken so I had to learn how to play the guitar instead. During the next summer I put the guitar, strings up in my lap, and taught myself enough chords to be one of two guitar players in the band. My older brother, who made his living as a DJ kind of liked my musical interest and bought me a Sigma copy of a Gibson SG for about $60. The guitar was really crappy, but it was my first guitar so I of course I loved it. I remember playing it through a small battery powered amp in my brothers touring bus all the way home from the store. The band played together for about 6 years before the members ended up in other bands. After High School I entered a sound engineer education and spent as much time as possible in front of the big Neotek Elite mixing desk and I loved it! With this new knowledge the touring started. First a few years as live sound engineer and then as a musician. '93 I moved to Kalmar in the south of Sweden playing bass with a restaurant entertainer. Down there I joined a new band as a singer, guitarist and mandolin player. In Kalmar I also got to know two of the musicians playing on my album.Since 1995 I've been living in Stockholm, the capitol of Sweden and that was when I started the work that led to this album. Together with two friends I built a studio where the album was recorded and a few years later these sessions started. In November 2001 the first singel "Ge mig ett kök" was released and in februari 2002 I had a TV-gig with "Vackrare nu" at the Swedish qualifications to the Eurovision Song Contest and it went pretty well.
