Tekito Lover album
$16.09 MCDONALD AND GILES is a 1970 reissue that features former King Crimson members Ian McDonald - who went on to join Foreigner - and Michael Giles and includes "Suite In C," "Flight Of The Ibis," and "Is She Waiting?"
Former King Crimson members Ian McDonald & Michael Giles recorded this set shortly after leaving the British prog-rock group in 1969. They enlisted the help of Traffic vocalist / keyboardist Steve Winwood and released this album in 1970. Songs like 'Flight of the Ibis' & 'Is She Waiting' were standard pop fare of the time, but "Birdman" was the obligatory album side long track that is the set's focal point. Allegedly, Robert Fripp wanted the song for King Crimson's "In The Wake Of Poseidon" and paid homage to the track on his first solo album "Exposure". McDonald in later years co-founded Foreigner ...

Tekito Lover music CDs
$4.15 By the late 1990s, Elvis fans had plenty of reason to bear suspicious minds regarding posthumous Presley collections, the barrel being seemingly scraped dry years earlier. Such reservations are put to rest by even a cursory listen to SUSPICIOUS MINDS. The two-disc collection captures the period just after Elvis' famous "'68 comeback." He was rediscovering his roots and getting gloriously gritty and funky. It would be the king's last hurrah before descending into Vegas showbiz glitz.
These 1969 recordings were all made in Memphis under the sure hand of producer Chips Moman and his eminently soulful Muscle Shoals cohorts. Elvis takes on everything from country ("From a Jack to a King") to churning, gutsy R&B ("Power of My Love") with abandon. Even those already familiar with this material will find reason to cheer in the inclusion of several previously unreleased alternate takes.
Recorded at American Studios, Memphis, Tennessee from January 13-16 & 20-23 and February 17-22, 1969. Includes liner notes by Peter Guralnick.
Compilation producers: Ernst Mikael Jorgensen, Roger Semon.
Personnel includes: Elvis Presley (vocals, piano); Tommy Cogbill (guitar, bass); Reggie Young (guitar); John Hughey (steel guitar); Ed Kollis (harmonica); Jackie Thomas (saxophone, trombone); Andrew Lowe, Glen Spreen, J.P. Luper (saxophone); R.F. Taylor, Wayne Jackson, Dick Steff (trumpet); Jack Hale, Ed Logan, ...

| | Lisa Mitchell Said One To The Other (2007) (Import)
Tekito Lover album
$6.55 Said One To The Other, featuring the song Incomplete Lullaby, is the debut EP from Albury-based singer songwriter Lisa Mitchell. Lisa endeared herself to the nation as the talented favourite amongst last year's batch of Australian Idol hopefuls. Recorded at Sydney's Broken Door Studios, Said One To The Other is an introduction to this 17 year old songwriter who has assembled a remarkable collection of passionate, confident songs. Incomplete Lullaby is the EP's focus track, a beautifully articulated song which was co-written with Evermore's Dann Hume. Lisa also called on Dann for production duties and talents on percussion and piano. Lisa is currently collaborating with the likes of Ben Lee, Paul Mac, Clare Bowditch, Katy Steele and Bob Evans and will release her debut album later this year. Lisa started her touring via a Myspace residency from the back of the family kombi in Albury, and completed 4 gigs with over 10,000 fans participating in each. She's now set to embark on ...
