Full DescriptionUnsurprisingly, the metal masters Dokken come off best with a classily arranged version of "Santa Claus Is Coming to Town," though you wouldn't object to finding Stryper's rocking "Winter Wonderland" and Queensryche's gloriously over-the-top version of "White Christmas" under your tree, either. Monster Ballads Xmas album
$12.15 Twisted Sister has always been able to find the heart and humor in the truly crass, so it probably should not surprise anyone that this holiday outing, TWISTED CHRISTMAS--while possibly a cash-in attempt--remains heartfelt, funny, and at times sincere (yes, sincere) throughout its 12 tracks. Dee Snider's idiot charm ...

Monster Ballads Xmas album
$11.85 Queensryche have a knack for keeping their fans guessing. A case in point: the band followed up their lofty, concept-driven MINDCRIME II album with a distinct break from their serious side in the form of TAKE COVER. This all-covers set features a decidedly eclectic mix of song choices, from the logical (Pink Floyd, Dio-era Black Sabbath) to the tangential (one show tune and an operatic aria, ...

The next best thing to siiting by the yule log... This CD was a pleasant surprise. A straight ahead Christmas CD with no fluff or crappy "Grandma Got Run Over.." novelty stuff. Not a lame version in the bunch. And of course my favorite, STRYPER!!! Submitted by jafo67 (Carlstadt, NJ, USA) Was This Review Helpful? Yes No
What are people thinking???????????? The people that gave this 5 stars must be in some of the bands because this is HORRIBLE. Geoff Tate who has 1 of the Greatest voices ever doesn't even try on this song and after seeing the other artists I understand why. This is why people made fun of the 80's hairbands. Dokken(with George Lynch) was incredible and Queensryche was/is great but Firehouse, Danger Danger, Enuff Z' Nuff, and Nelson were not any good back then.
