Like 2004's THROWBACK, MOTOWN: A JOURNEY THROUGH HITSVILLE USA finds Boyz II Men working their way ably through a set of cover tunes. This time around the group takes on the Motown canon, lending their superb harmonies to renditions of "Ain't Nothing Like the Real Thing," "Just My Imagination (Running Away With Me)," and "The Tracks of My Tears."

I must say this is the third cd I have bought of Boyz II Men and these guys never cease to amaze me, I never get bored of listening to their amazing harmonies. They have done a great job on this cd. Not only it features their version of the greatest Motown hits which are great including Its The Same Old Song/Reach Out I'll Be There, Money(Thats What I Want), Tracks Of My Tears, Ribbon In The Sky and many more!! But it also includes an acapella remake of their #1 hit End Of The Road which feats Brian Mcknight. I am very impressed with this album and glad I spent my money buying this cd, if you don't have it I definately reccomend it especially if your a Boyz II Men fan or you love Motown music. This deserves 5 stars for sure.

They teach how to sing
i can`t imagine the music world without them. they teach all singers around the world how to fill, how to share emotions, how to keep humble, and above all.. how being in touch with our hearts. I love them. iŽd desire to meet them some day.

As usual, the boyz are just cold for no reason. Their talent just speaks for itself. Definitely the originators of these songs should be quite proud. Unquestionably, the best track is their a capella version of Stevie Wonder's all-time best, "Ribbon in the Sky". Harmony at its sharpest. Take a bow fellas.

Michael Gunter acoustic guitar electric guitar vocals God has done miraculous things in my life. Growing up, I was always in a church environment but had never grasped the awesome power of God. I played church for a long time, but deep down I was searching for much, much more. Finally, one day God spoke to me and I asked him to come into my heart and to forgive me and be my pure and holy passion from now, until forever. During my high school years, Robert and I played together a lot and homed in on what kind of music God wanted us to play. As we played in several praise bands over the years, God showed us awesome wonders that are really indescribable. Through the years, we have written several songs concerning the trials and events of our lives. In the summer of 2005, we were giving an opportunity to record some of our songs and we prayed about it. God soon gave us our answer. We didn't know how we were going to pay for it, but we knew that God would provide. So here we are today, trying desperately to reach out to those who will listen and just let God work through us. We try not to cater to an audience because it really is not our music, but God's; not our talents, but God's; not our audience, but God's.
