Just Not Spectacular But Ok
I get the feeling that they just aren't trying as hard anymore to make a record that really stands out. For me this album was just ok, repeats alot, but then again it's Arch Enemy so that should be expected. I would'nt buy it, they are definitely past their peak!

AWESOME...ANGELA GOSSOW IS AMAZING
THIS IS PROBABLY ONE OF...IF NOT THE BEST ALBUM EVER RECORDED BY THIS BAND! I DON'T KNOW WTH THAT GUY BELOW ME IS TALKING GUY IS TALKING ABOUT BUT I WOULD GIVE THIS ALBUM INFINITY TIMES INFINITY STARS!! I LOVE THIS ALBUM!
THE OTHERS ARE GOOD TO BUT THIS ONE SEEM TO HAVE ALOT MORE GUITAR IN IT! THE RIFFS ARE BETTER(hard to play) BUT DEFINITELY BETTER!
I WOULD PUT THEM IN ORDER FROM FAVORITE TO LEAST FAVORITE(angela gossow albums)!
1.) Rise of the Tyrant
2.) Doomsday Machine
3.) Wages of Sin
4.) Anthems of Rebellion
THAT WAS HARD TO DO! I LOVE ALL THE ANGELA GOSSOW ALBUMS! BUT I THINK THATS HOW I WOULD HAVE TO RATE THEM! NOT THAT ONE IS MORE IMPORTANT OR AWESOME THAN ANOTHER! BUT AS FAR AS I ENJOY THEM THATS HOW I HAVE TO DO IT!
BUT RISE OF THE TYRANT IS NOT REPETITIVE! THIS HAS BEEN MY FAVORITE BAND FOR ALMOST 3 YEARS NOW! I LOVE THIS BAND! KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK ARCH ENEMY AND ANGELA! CAN'T WAIT FOR NEW ARCH ENEMY MATERIAL! CAN'T WAIT! BUT I KNOW IT PROLLY GONNA BE AT LEAST ANOTHER 10 OR 11 MONTHS BEFORE WE TASTE NEW ARCH ENEMY SONGS! BUT ITS WORTH THE WAIT! I CAN'T WAIT TO GER MY HANDS OF TYRANTS OF THE RISING SUN EITHER! I WANNA GET THAT SO BAD BUT HAVE TO WAIT ANOTHER 2 WEEKS UNTIL X-MAS!! BUT I WILL FINALLY GET IT! AND I'M ALSO GETTING LIVE APOCALYPSE! CAN'T FRIGGIN WAIT! JUST CAN'T FRIGGIN WAIT~!

Bloond On Your Hands
amazing album. i highly recommend it. also look for Into Eternity's Buried In Oblivion and In Flames' Clayman albums. You cant go wrong

Excellent!
Another great album to make the dark lord happy! Heavy, pummeling drums, pumping bass lines, heavy guitar riffs and melodic solos that remind you of the classic metal of yore! I've always like Amott's guitar sound, even back in Carcass. And of course then there's Angela Gossow... She's incredibly hot and gorgeous AND she's got pipes that most male singers sound like choirboys. Great stuff!

Awesome
This is definitley a great record. Arch Enemy continues to be one of the top outfits in the melodic death metal scene.The Amott brother's guitar skills continue to drop jaws all around the world. Angela's vocals are more raw and powerful. Daniel is a powerhouse behind the drum kit. And Sharlee's bass playing blends everything together in a brutal yet beautful way. Overall this is a very diverse and intense record. 5/5
