Latin pop phenomenon Gloria Trevi has been going strong since the 1980s, and 2007's UNA ROSA BLU doesn't suggest any sign that she is slowing. Though the lead-off single "Psicophonia," a swirling, passionate ballad, finds Trevi leaning somewhat ... Full Descriptiontoward an adult contemporary sound, there is plenty of uptempo pop to be had, whether it's rock-driven ("Pruebamelo") or bright, bouncy dance-pop ("Lo Que Una Chica Por Amor Es Capaz"). Help from top-flight producers gives the album an appealing sheen, but it's Trevi's indelible vocal stamp that makes UNA ROSA BLU another winner in her discography.

This is a brilliant work for this talented artist. People will be highly surprised with this album that shows an evolved sound and a more polished vocal performance rarely showed before on sounds like "la Rosa Blue" and mostly "El Favor de la Soledad". She tries on Salsa on "La Vida se Va" and with an explosive duet with Olga Tañon in "Lo que Te Toca"

I'm so impresed by Gloria Trevi, this is such a great musical material, the music, the lyrics Wow Gloria has turning me to love her even more then ever before.
I totally recomend "Una Rosa Blu" from little kids to mature music freaks. LOL

This set includes 20 songs, among them previously unreleased tracks, various remixes, and 4 music videos. Three legendary producers, Sergio George, Armando Avila, and Bob Benozzo collaborated on this production. Also featured is the participation of Olga Tanon on one song, forming a dynamic duo and making this the first duet of La Trevi's musical career. Celso Pina is also featured on one track.

Haunt began as simple acoustic songs developed on a Tascam 4-track by singer/songwriter William Lemon. Then in January of 2005 while recording at the Blacklodge Studio, the songs began to grow and expand with the addition of drums (billy brimblecom) and bass (ed rose). With these additions the songs began to take on a more mature sonic-nature reminiscent of bands such as Wilco and Modest Mouse. The songs themselves are anchored by songwriter William Lemon and his ability to blend lyrical details with simple honest statements. Besides playing bass on the E.P., Ed Rose also doubled as the role of Producer and added a dark-atmospheric quality to the recording.

Since 1999, the Richard Glaser Band has been hard at work establishing a new set of standards for the Los Angeles jazz scene. Recently presented by Los Angeles Magazine as part of the guest line-up for their 8th Annual Best of LA® gala at the Pacific Design Center, the band has made the most of its reputation as a classy and original troupe, performing at such premiere music and nightlife destinations as Crustacean in Beverly Hills, the Greystone Mansion, the Santa Monica Playhouse, the Geffen Playhouse, Traxx at Union Station, the Hotel Cafe and Toppers in Santa Monica.
