15 years after being born on January 14, 1983, in Montgomery, AL, Jonathan Rhodes aquired the name 'Hennasee' while drinking a little too much of the well-known cognac at a hometown club. He formed a love for music at an early age that was influenced by artists such as Tupac, Bone, Kilo, Run D.M.C., Scar Face, DMX, 2 Live Crew, Snoop Dogg, Eminem, Haystack, and many more. He made his name known by freestyling to sounds and rhythms produced by beating on desks and notebooks during school time. Hennasee's popularity grew, not only in school, but in local parking lot hang-outs and clubs. People loved tuning into lyrics that were coming from an ol' whiteboy from the small town of Wetumpka, Alabama. Friends would constantly pressure him to rap something for them everytime he popped up.
