Classically trained vocalist Fernando Lima performs a repertoire of mainstream standards and pop on PASION. Possessed of a delicate and ethereal countertenor, Lima acquits himself beautifully on the heavenly "Azul," the lilting "Guardian Angel," and a technically dazzling reading of Paul Simon's "El Condor Pasa." Lima is joined by Sarah Brightman on the title track, which proves to be one of the set's highlights. Fans of Enya, Josh Groban, Andrea Bocelli, and the like, will find this a relaxing, inspiring listen.
