Adrya Nature's Answer CD

Many say she's got the voice of an angel and an unique way of phrasing... Her music is relaxing, mysterious and gives soul food to its listeners... She is called Adrienn Antal. The artist name AdryA comes from her nickname Adry to which she added the initial of her second name, a capital "A". Her excellent ear and sense for music, her clean voice were already noticed in the early nursery school years.She's been impressed by many styles of music, especially by rock (AOR and progressive), synth-pop, dark, alternative and a bit of industrial music. Some of her most favourite bands/performers are: Depeche Mode, Yes, U2, Nine Inch Nails, A-ha, Europe, Asia, Glenn Hughes and a well known hungarian singer/songwriter/poet called Ɓkos. While in elementary school she learnt to play the piano and took solfeggio lessons for 6 years. Besides practising and playing classical works, she wrote several compositions on her own. Later she headed towards light music, created more and more complex songs with the help of the synthesizer. This time she started to sing regularly.After finishing high school, she founded and joined several bands whom she had many live shows with. She also regularly appeared as a guest singer on two well known hungarian rock bands' stage: P. Mobil and Tunyogi Rock Band.In 2004 she decided to walk her own path and recorded a demo titled On the Waves all alone. Only the guitar parts were played by one of the most famous hungarian musicians called JƔnos ZƔvodi who is the guitarist of legandary rock group Piramis.The CD Nature's Answer (2005) was born in the similar circumstances. It contains more mature, more modern songs than the previous collection and gives a panoramic view of AdryA's musical world and conception. AdryA's style can hardly be categorized: it's an interesting mixture of rock, pop, alternative and a little bit of dark/industrial music, often spiced with eastern melodies.In 2007 finnish guitar genius/composer Lars Eric Mattsson - owner of progressive metal label Lion Music - asked her to sing 2 songs on the upcoming Mattsson album. After Lars heard the outcome for the first song, he wanted AdryA to do the lead vocals on the whole CD. Dream Child represents the most solid album to date from Mattsson, building upon the solid foundation laid by 2005's War, the new album sees symphonic metal mixed with progressive and gothic elements spiced up with world music inflections. Mattsson proudly states, "Adrienn Antal is the best singer I have ever had the pleasure of working with. She has a great voice, is very musical and we click together extremely well. Adrienn Antal is the star of this album. Without her the songs would not have come to life in the way they have, and in my view the main quality boost comes from Adrienn Antal".
