Color this gorgeous."Born in Arhus, Denmark, Tina, a dizzyingly statuesque six-foot blond amazingly describes herself as having been a bit of a tomboy as a child. "I played football," she says, "though I did have ballet lessons. My love of music came from my father, who was a bit of a Hi-Fi anorak; we had a music room in the basement, which had state of the art audio equipment and a piano. We had a huge record collection, mostly Sixties stuff like The Beatles and Pink Floyd, my favourite was Donovan who I would still cite as an influence.""I had piano lessons from the age of eight and then guitar lessons at twelve. I started writing when I was ten. I used to sit at the piano and wrote verse after verse as a sort of diary. It was fairly monotone stuff, just two chords. I never played it to anyone else, I was very shy about it and didn't think it would ever come to anything."After High School, Tina went to University to study Religion.
