Abilio Abreu CD discography Born in Curitiba Brazil in 1971, Abilio Abreu began playing guitar at the age of 13. Initially influenced by the music of Led Zeppelin, The Beatles, and Pink Floyd, he formed several bands and worked extensively in the local club scene playing rock, reggae, funk, blues and heavy metal. Impressed with his eclectic background and musical versatility, Brazilian composer Joao Lopes invited Abilio for a European tour in 1992. Upon his return to Brazil, Abilio was introduced to Brazilian popular music.
