Airbourne Biography
Australia's Artist brings an update on the rowdy, alcohol-infused hard rock pioneered by their fellow countrymen AC/DC. Originating as a teenage garage band in Warrnambool, Artist quickly rose to notoriety with its rambunctious music, rebellious attitude, and extremely accessible hard-rock sound. Catching the attention of Capitol/EMI Records in Australia and Roadrunner in America, the band has shared the stage with such heavyweights as Mötley Crüe, Motörhead, and The Rolling Stones. Artist has also had its music incorporated into several popular video games, including GUITAR HERO WORLD TOUR, both ROCK BAND games, and NHL 09.
