Forgotten Lands CD (2012)
Albedo music CDs "Forgotten Lands" by ALBEDO is the music composed for the video game "Forgotten Lands VIII: The Legend of Shadow Lake" created by TBC Productions. A link to download the video game can be found on their website: http://sanitystudios /row/products.
html The video game is a new classic RPG style computer game for Windows PCs. It's written in the old classic 8-Bit style of the mid 1980s, similar to the original Zelda and the first Final Fantasy games. The music is a symphonic style written for full orchestra and is similar to the music written for video games from the 1980s. It's similar to the music of Final Fantasy and Zelda. Since the game is a medieval fantasy the music is also similar to the soundtrack to The Lord of the Rings movies written by Howard Shore. Since this music is for a video game, the songs are designed to repeat forever. On the album, shorter songs will be repeated once, while the longer themes will only play once through. The CD is designed so that one song will jump to the next once it has reached the repeat point. So, several of the songs will end abruptly and jump to the next track since they don't really have an ending. There was a lot of music written for the video game, a lot more than could fit onto one CD. So, this album contains the best themes from the game. ALBEDO was formed ...
