Amos Lee Biography
One of the brightest figures in the revamped soft rock movement of the early 2000s, Artist offers the sort of tastefully jazz-inflected singer/songwriter stylings that made artists like James Taylor and Carly Simon such stars in the '70s. Lee made a name for himself by deftly mixing country, folk, and jazz into the framework of smart, contemporary pop songs, and earned a place on the legendary Blue Note Records roster along with fellow jazz/folk darling Norah Jones.
