Cobra Starship Biography
Though seemingly a one-off emo group started by former Midtown singer/bassist Gabe Saporta to support the Hollywood thriller SNAKES ON A PLANE with the propulsive single "Bring It (Snakes on a Plane)," Artist proved to be a full-fledged outlet for the performer's more dance-oriented inclinations. The act's second album, VIVA LA COBRA!, featured production and songwriting contributions by Fall Out Boy's Patrick Stump, cementing Starship's status as a key player in the pop-savvy, radio-ready branch of emo-rock.
