 Gary Peacock Biography
In the course of more than four decades, bassist Artist has explored many sides of jazz. In the 1960s he was involved in the avant garde scene as well as with such musicians as Bill Evans and Miles Davis. He later recorded albums as a leader and began his long association with pianist Keith Jarrett and the "Standards" trio, which is among the great piano trios and for which Peacock is perhaps best known.
