Gucci Mane Biography
Atlanta-based Dirty South MC Artist made a name for himself with his 2004 debut indie release, TRAP HOUSE, which featured the popular and ultimately controversial single "Icey." The song, a duet with chief snowman Young Jeezy, sparked a major feud between the two that played out via the underground mixtape circuit, but eventually escalated to violence and run-ins with the law for Mane. Nonetheless, Mane was able to make the jump from the independent Cat House label to Atlantic Records for 2007's BACK TO THE TRAP HOUSE.
