Hellbound Glory CD discography With an album title that doubles as an apt description of their sound, Hellbound Glory don't waste time making it clear what they're all about. The 11 songs on SCUMBAG COUNTRY re-tool the sound of true outlaw honky-tonk (Waylon Jennings, Johnny Paycheck) for a modern world of trailer park meth labs and legal brothels on the outskirts of town. Opener "Hellbound Glory" is rife with driving bluegrass banjo and winding southern-rock solos, while "I'll Be Your Rock (At Rock Bottom)" is a classic booze-soaked ballad edged in lonesome pedal steel.
