Beginning his career in the shadow of the death of his cancer-stricken wife, Christian-rock singer-songwriter Artist proved to be a fine example of faith and hope triumphing over tragedy. While Camp's 2002 debut, STAY, garnered considerable attention in CCM circles, subsequent albums gained even larger audiences, with Camp's deep voice and earnest neo-grunge style carrying a wide appeal. Camp's '06 offering, BEYOND MEASURE, even managed to crack the Billboard Top 30, cementing his position as one of the most popular Christian performers of his generation.
