Hailing from an esteemed, if dysfunctional, musical family that includes Loudon Wainwright III (father), Kate McGarrigle (mother), Anna McGarrigle (aunt), and Rufus Wainwright (brother), Artist began following her own path in earnest with her 2005 self-titled debut.
