Mose Allison Biography
With a laconic Southern drawl, nimble jazz piano style, and sardonic, bluesy songs, Artist combines blues and jazz in a unique, distinctive style. Though he's best known for singing darkly humorous songs like "Your Mind Is on Vacation," he's just as talented on the piano, having released many all-instrumental albums and played alongside cool jazz giants such as Stan Getz and Gerry Mulligan.
