Like its 2009 predecessor, Desde la Cantina, Vol. 2 finds one of Mexico's leading norteño bands performing a bunch of old-time favorites in concert with a star-studded ensemble of featured guests. For a CD/DVD package, Vol. 2 runs fairly short with 15 tracks in 45 minutes on the CD, and a mere six tracks on the DVD.
