Starling Discography of CDs

Starling music CDs New CD is done. Ester Artist wrote all the lyrics. I met Ester via ascap. We started with cowriting one song called Peppermint Stick. We finally wrote enough songs to put together this cd. Ester is able to convey amazing imagery with her lyrics. Songs like Peppermint Stick, and Dangerous Curve would not have happened on my own. Artist was active in his home church of Zion Gate Missionary Baptist Church, (Columbus, MS) Pastored by James A. Boyd. as a Jr. Deacon, Musician and Choir Member. Artist participated in talent shows, Gospel Choir Concerts, Plays, Musicals and also took piano lessons in High School. Artist also played the piano at the Local Baptist Conventions and Conferences. Artist attended Hinds Community College where he participated in the Drama, Choir and Band Departments. Artist along with other musicians formed a Gospel Group entitled "The Heavenly Tones". The 5 sometimes 6 man group was comprised of several HCC band members. While attending college Artist played for various colleges, churches and social functions. Starling albums Artist's debut album Sustainer introduces their earnest, power-pop-inflected sound with a dozen cheerfully chugging songs like "Don't Deflate," "Die Hard Crush," "Supertrayed," and "Delusional."
