After a brief collaboration in high school, Brant, Jiho, Danny, Pete and Evan reformed after entering college and began playing as the band Zephyr. They began playing at open mics and local venues in Ames Iowa. Since their beginning they have changed their name to The Workshy and are growing a large following of funky people who like to get down with some face melting grooves. Coming from eclectic musical influences, The Workshy will keep you moving using elements of jazz, rock and jam throughout each of their songs. Their music incorporates such an array of sounds that they have been asked to open for bands such as Radio Moscow, Family Groove Company and Jambang.
